Former frontman for the Heavy Metal Horns, Thaddeus Hogarth treks out on his own, striking a positive chord on this funky island/urban influenced outing.

Nine originals steeped in Caribbean tempos and street-smart rhythms as well as a cover of Stevie Wonder's Big Brother find Hogarth in masterful command of arranging, performing and production. He's got that gritty, been-around kind of voice that gets right to the heart of the matter.

Meanwhile, bandmates Joey Scrima on drums and Steve Cuoco on bass along with Pat Loomis on sax and flute and Gilson Schachnik on clavinet round out this noteworthy album of contemporary R&B.
