The glass on the table the smoke in the air

The room full of memories of when we were there

A life filled with questions and wondering why

You left without saying goodbye

It easy to wonder what else might have been

The answers, elusive, are lost in a dream

There’s no one to answer, its too late to try

You left without saying goodbye

And though we are far apart

I’ve still got your song in my heart..

It’s time to move on with the life I have made

I’ll walk in the sun and step out of the shade

And if there is sadness I’ll chase with a smile

I’ve cried all the tears that a loved one can cry
